Meals and Snacks

Bewbush Community Nursery C.I.C. has a ‘No Nuts’ policy. To keep all children safe we ask that no edible items be brought into the Nursery due to children’s allergies.

Mealtimes

8:15am – 9:00am: Breakfast
11:45am – 12:15pm: Lunch
2:00pm – 2:30pm: Afternoon Snack
5:00pm – 5:30pm: Tea (not currently provided)

Bewbush Community Nursery C.I.C. offers a choice of cereals for breakfast or toast which will always come with a side of fruit with milk or water to drink.

Afternoon snacks consists of a varied menu of fruit and a savoury snack such as a cracker or a rice cake.

Lunch and tea are provided by Care Catering Ltd, and costs are included within the session price.

Care Catering Ltd offer a rotating menu and cater for all dietary requirements. Please ensure the Nursery Manager is informed of any changes to your child’s dietary needs. These menus will be added to your child’s Tapestry account so you can see what they have for lunch every day.

Due to there being a limited number of children needing the late session we are currently closing at 5pm every day, so tea is not being offered.

Meal Times

• 8:15am – 9:00am: Breakfast
• 11:45am – 12:15pm: Lunch
• 2:00pm – 2:30pm: Afternoon Snack
• 5:00pm – 5:30pm: Tea (currently not provided)

Breakfast

Children are offered a choice of cereals or toast, served with a portion of fresh fruit. Milk or water is available to drink.

Afternoon Snack

Our afternoon snack includes a variety of fresh fruit alongside a savoury item, such as a cracker or rice cake. Milk or water is also available.

Lunch

Lunch is provided by Care Catering Ltd., and the cost is included in your child’s session fee.

Care Catering Ltd. provides a rotating menu and caters for all dietary requirements and allergies. Please ensure you inform the Nursery Manager of any changes to your child’s dietary needs as soon as possible.

The weekly menus will be uploaded to your child’s Tapestry account, allowing you to see what they have been served each day.

Tea

Tea is usually served between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. However, due to the current low number of children attending the late session, the nursery is temporarily closing at 5:00pm each day. As a result, tea is not currently being provided.
